Moneybox
This photo was taken in the door of a curved curio cabinet in my home. You can see a box which contins a collection of "bride price money" that I collected as a Peace Corps Volunteer on the island of Guadalcanal, in the Solomon Islands. It would take ten times as much of this shell-bead "money" for a man to secure a bride in that South Pacific culture.
