adventures in reflective surfaces
Bear Windows and Close-up w/ Photog
I had just come back to 'the Cabin' after the snows of winter. In the process of spring cleaning I had washed the windows and seeing my reflection decided to document the occasion. The windows are referred to as 'bear windows' for of the nails, points protruding which encircle them. This was thought to discourage marauding bears from prying the windows out to gain access to our food stores. They never again invaded the cabin interior, though one did take a quarter of venison from the porch while I was inside.
